I D K and catch-driver Danny MacDonald went coast-to-coast in the Thursday night feature at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
MacDonald put the Gary Poulton-trained I D K on the point from Post 6 and cruised through fractions of :28.2, 1:00.1 and 1:30.2 before stopping the timer in 1:58.4. Lyndale Royal (Marc Campbell) was second, while First Art Down (Ken Murphy) was third.
IDK is owned by Gail MacDonald of Charlottetown, PEI.
Howmacs Pride won the evening trot division in 2:03.2 for driver Kenny Arsenault and owners Wade Peconi and Howmac Farms Ltd.
The fastest mile of the night came in the Best Western Pace when Whosurwinner turned on the jets to win in deep stretch tripping the timer in 1:57.4. Corey MacPherson was in the bike for owner Ron Gass and trainer Deanna Clow.
MacPherson and Gary Chappell recorded driving doubles on the program.
