After Open company proved just too tough in her last three tries, Thats It ($5.60) returned to her winning ways with a pillar-to-post 1:56.1 score in Saturday afternoon’s (May 19) featured event at Century Downs, a $7,400 top-level optional claiming event.

The four-year-old daughter of Dragon Again sprinted clear from post 7 in rein to Paul Davies and never looked back, calling the shots through splits of :28.1, :59.2, and 1:27.1 before gaining five lengths of separation on the final turn. Runner-up Remember Terror (Doug Chappell) rallied off cover to ultimately halve that margin, giving trainer Rod Hennessy and owner Lorne Duffield a sweep of the exactor in the featured event. Shesamysterytome (Ryan Grundy) made gradual gains from mid-division to take third.

Hennessy shares in the ownership of Thats It with Duffield, along with Jean Crochetiere. It was Thats It’s 12th career win in fifty tries.
