Trot Insider has learned that driver Steve Byron has been transported to hospital following an accident in the sixth qualifier at Kawartha Downs on Saturday.
The accident involved Hammers Cam, driven by Jason Ryan, and Byron's mount Ucallthatanexcuse.
Officials at Kawartha Downs told Trot Insider that Byron suffered an injury to his left leg and was taken to local hospital following the incident.
Trot Insider will provide further updates when details are available.
