On Friday, May 17, the Ontario Racing Commission released its rulings in regard to separate appeals from the Northern Horsemen's Association and ORC licensees Jody Jamieson, Mike Saftic and Paul Henry.
In regard to the Northern Horsemen's Association appeal, the NHA was appealing the decision by ORC Director Steve Lehman issued on April 12, 2013 'ORC approves race dates for May through December 2013', as it applies to Sudbury Downs.

In regard to the appeal of Jody Jamieson, the reinsman was appealing Ruling Number SB 45806.

In regard to the appeal of Mike Saftic, the pilot was appealing Ruling Number SB 45815.
The Panel denied Saftic's appeal, but varied the penalty. Saftic will serve his five-day suspension from May 14 to May 18, 2013, inclusively. To read an official copy of the ORC ruling, click here.
In regard to the appeal of Paul Henry, he was appealing Ruling Number SB 45365.
