Favourite Pricevalleyrevitup delivered on his pari-mutuel promise by a nose in the $7,000 Preferred 3 Trot featured on Wednesday's harness racing card at The Raceway at the Western Fair District.

Pricevalleyrevitup ($5.50) followed inside assignee Oaklea Sydney from the trailing tier for most of the mile before Canada's 2014 leading driver, Trevor Henry, sent him three-wide into the stretch to prevail in a win photo over first-up Impressive. The time of the mile was 2:00 flat. Longshot Northern Buzz edged by the pacesetter for third-place honours over one length behind.

Jeffrey Peake owns the eight-year-old Revenue S gelding, who also won his last Western Fair race in the same class on April 21. Pricevalleyrevitup is now two-for-four this year for trainer Randy Marriage.

Henry and Marriage also teamed up for a victory with Clarence Dekens' sophomore pacing colt, Decroft Havaball ($5.20), who was more than eight lengths the best in his race, clocked in 1:59.4.
