Sent postward as the second longest shot on the board, 25-1 Spartan Victory wired a field of nine to post the biggest upset of the night in Saturday's featured $11,000 Preferred 2 Trot at Flamboro Downs.

Spartan Victory ($53) fought off first over Aisling and the pylon-skimming Cimeronken to win by a head in 1:57.2 with Ryan Holliday at the lines. Brad Pittock trains and owns the seven-year-old gelding, who was a runner-up at odds of 54-1 to fifth-place finisher Winkys Pride in the same class last weekend.

Driven by J.R. Plante, Germain Brazeau's Out Of The Hat ($4.80) front-stepped her way to a 1:57.3 triumph in the $7,000 Preferred 3 while making her debut from the Stephane Larocque barn.
