Ufdragons Rocket missed the board in his debut for trainer Yves Tessier on March 12, but since that fourth-place finish the pacer has done nothing but win.

It’s four straight wins, in fact, for Ufdragons Rocket following his front-stepping score in Sunday’s $6,650 feature for pacers at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Jonathan Lachance was parked and driving past the quarter marker in :26.4 with the gelding, who eventually muscled past Bazinga Brad to gain top honours. Once in command of the field, Ufdragons Rocket stepped through middle fractions of :56 and 1:25.1 before cruising home in :30.1. He prevailed by 1-1/4 lengths over Bazinga Brad in 1:55.2. Taking home third prize was Shadow Newton.

Sent off as the 1-2 choice, the eight-year-old son of Dragon Again-Pacific Monterey now boasts a 5-1-0 record from his 13 trips postward this year. Francois Morin of Beauceville, QC owns the 31-time winner who recently surpassed $300,000 in lifetime earnings.
