The win streak is now four-in-a-row and counting for LR Dancing Dream, who used her off-the-pace skills to triumph in Thursday’s lone $20,000 division of the Jersey Girls Series at the Meadowlands

.

LR Dancing Dream was in no hurry in the early part of the mile for driver Brian Sears, but that wasn’t the case for driver Matt Kakaley and Midwestern Jatelo. Sans a stopwatch, that mare rolled the 11-horse field through wild fractions of :27.2, :54 and 1:21.2 before fading through the pack.

Sears, in the meantime, was perfectly spotted with LR Dancing Dream, and when he called on her to pace to the top she complied. She sprung off her cover and drew clear to win in a career-best clocking of 1:50.4. Second prize went to Harper Lee and the show dough was picked up by World Fame.

LR Dancing Dream, who was a 1:51.3 in the opening leg of the series, now boasts a 4-2-2 record in her first 13 starts of the season. Lou Pena conditions the four-year-old Ft Apache Hanover-Speedy Bunny miss for the KDM Stables Corp of Farmingdale, NY. She has banked $155,332 to date.
