It’s been a long time between drinks for trotter Parkhill Nonstop, who turned in a solid score in front-stepping fashion during the final Thursday program of harness racing at Woodbine Racetrack.
Parkhill Nonstop, who last visited victory lane on November 6, 2017 for trainer/driver Pat Hudon, snapped out of his 0-for-11 start to the season by virtue of Thursday’s 1:57.4 triumph in the featured $18,000 conditioned event.
Hudon hustled the four-year-old son of Majestic Son-Oaklea Uppity to the lead from Post 7 and together they led the group through intervals of :29.2, 1:00.1 and 1:29.2 before sprinting home in :28.2. He was 1-1/2 lengths up on Regal Magician. Taking home the show dough was Twofourroadie.
Hudon shares ownership on the three-time winner with 8113564 Canada Ltd of Sherwood Park, AB. The victory pushed his lifetime earnings just shy of $100,000.
