Jason Bartlett won six races—five by himself (and his horse)—during Yonkers Raceway’s Monday night program.

After a sixth-place finish in the opener, Bartlett won the $14,500, second-race trot with Sixteen Mikes ($4.20) in 1:58.1. He then finished third in the third race before he and season-debuting Cultural Paradise ($8 as part of dead-heat) hit the line simultaneously with Jimmy Wintips (Mark MacDonald) in the $17,000, fourth-race pace (life-best 1:56).

Bartlett struck again with a passing-plane Awsome Valley ($8), winning a blanket photo in the $16,500, fifth-race trot. The sixth race saw Bartlett and his charge fade to fourth, while he and his seventh-race escort closed for third.

Pole-sitting Home James ($7.70) prevailed from the pocket in the $22,00, eighth-race pace (life-best 1:54.3), then odds-on St Kitts ($2.70) drilled her foes in the $27,000, ninth-race pace (life-best 1:54.3).

Bartlett’s sixth win of the evening was behind All Down the Line ($8.60) in the $27,000, 10th-race pace (match life-best 1:53.1), though his quest for more resulted in misbehavers in races 11 and 12.

The opening round of Yonkers Raceway/Standardbred Owners Association of New York Bonus Trotting Series begins Tuesday night, with six, $25,000 divisions.
