Yonkers Raceway has announced it will continue its participation in the U.S. Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering, though with some changes in the guaranteed Pick 4 pool
.
Beginning in May, Yonkers will "up the ante" to a $20,000 guaranteed pool for its late Pick 4 (from $15,000), and make it available every Monday and Tuesday night (a change from Monday/Saturday). The $15,000 guaranteed pool remains in effect this Saturday (April 30).
"We've been very pleased with the response of our fans to the guaranteed pool," said general manager Bob Galterio. "The figures on our late Pick 4 have been strong, and we've decided to make the wager even more enticing."
The 'Monday/Tuesday, $20,000 guarantee' begins this Monday, May 2, and is in play until further notice. Past performances for the guaranteed pool Pick 4 wager (Races 7 through 10) continue to be available at www.yonkersraceway.com (go to the "racing" icon), as well as at www.ustrotting.com.
Yonkers' regular five-night-per-week schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) remains in effect. First post for all racing programs is 7:10 p.m. Evening simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting available around the NYRA schedule.
