Beginning with the Friday, May 4 program, Cal Expo is increasing purses across the board by 25 per cent
. The increases will remain in effect through the end of the current meeting in June.
In addition, the Friday and Saturday Late Pick 4 guarantees were also recently increased and now feature a $20,000 guaranteed gross pool. All Pick 4’s at Cal Expo also come with a reduced 15 per cent takeout rate. On Friday, there is a zero per cent takeout on winning Late Pick 4 wagers made on track or at Twinspires.com, while the Saturday Late Pick 4 will be broadcast on TVG.
