After having acquired Sombrero Blue Chip last year in order to make a bid for the coveted Governor's Plate, owners Darren and Jennifer Trainor have reloaded for this season's renewal, and the pair are hoping their new charge has the right stuff to get the job done

.

Darren has told Nick Oakes, in his weekly column in The Guardian, that trainer Mark Ford has sold him Wellthereyougo in order to take another shot at Summerside Raceway's top stakes race.

"I hope he’ll be good enough to come here," Darren told Oakes. "It takes a different kind of horse to come here and race the free-for-all circuit. But we just sold Lyons Elite and Tobins Fortune for $35,000 so I figured why not, let’s take a shot with (Wellthereyougo)."

In his first star for the Trainors, Wellthereyougo finished second by three-quarters of a length at Flamboro Downs on April 25 in a 1:54.1 mile.
