Three-year-old trotting filly Daylon Miracle started her career off just like big brother, millionaire trotter Daylon Magician...with a win

.

Daylon Miracle overcame an interference break early on and won her career debut at Western Fair Raceway in 2:02.3 on April 13 with soon-to-be Hall of Fame horseman Dave Wall in the bike. The Pegasus-Daylon Marvel miss will make her next start on Friday in London from the outside post eight in race six for owner, breeder and trainer David Lemon of Komoka, Ont. Wall will be back in the sulky.

"You only get one like that [Daylon Magician] in a lifetime," said Lemon in a CTV News London video feature on the half-siblings. "We just hope she races good. We've got her in the Ontario Sires Stakes and if she can do good there we'll be happy."

Daylon Miracle's Kadabra brother won 11 of 17 races including the Canadian Trotting Classic and banked over $1 million last season en route to being named Canada's Three-Year-Old Trotting Colt of the Year.
