Moving back to the Preferred 3 level where he earned his other two victories this year in dominant fashion, Cimeronken went wire-to-wire in Wednesday night's feature race at Western Fair Raceway.

Assigned post seven in an eight-horse field, Cimeronken cruised to a 1:58.2 triumph in the $8,000 Preferred 3 Handicap Trot. Bill Davis Jr. drove the five-year-old Ken Warkentin gelding for trainer Daryl Roberts and owner/breeder Denise Anderson of Mossley, Ont.

Sent postward as the race favourite, Cimeronken paid $5.60 to win. Oakley Sydney (Bruce Richardson), the longest shot on the board at 13-1, followed from the pocket to place two lengths behind while Osprey Vision (Dave Boughton) finished third.

Cimeronken has hit the board in seven of his 11 starts this year to earn over $21,000.
