"Some people believe that if they don't make it early, they're never going to make it and we're still to see on this filly but we've been some nice miles with her and she's starting to put it together pretty nice

so we'll come along slow with her and hopefully she'll show some of her pedigree."

On today's episode of Trot Radio, Erv Miller, one of harness racing's top conditioners, took time out of his busy schedule to offer updates on some of his top stock including Someheartsomewhere - the Mach Three full sister to the great Somebeachsomewhere - who qualifies on Saturday at Southern Oaks Training Centre. Miller plans to send the pacing filly to Woodbine Racetrack for her first lifetime start.

"So far she's got the right attitude, I haven't pressed on her too hard as I want to keep her pretty healthy so I really don't know how far she's going to go other than I'm pretty sure she'll be a decent race mare."

Erv Miller has trained his share of champions over the past decade and the forecast for the upcoming season could add more hardware to Miller's trophy case. Two of last year's top two-year-olds - Manofmanymissions and Shadyshark Hanover - are training down and Miller provides insight on the promising sophomores as well as new recruit Albionking Espolon from Argentina.

Miller also revealed plans to set up shop in Ontario this year. To hear the full interview, click the play button below.
