Campbell To Officials Accreditation Board

It has been announced that John Campbell has joined the Racing Officials Accreditation Program’s board of directors.

“The board is excited to have more harness input, and Mr. Campbell’s depth in the industry is unmatched,” ROAP Chairman Dan Fick has stated.

Campbell, who was brought aboard as an at-large director, is currently the president and CEO of the Hambletonian Society and is a member of the U.S. Harness Racing Hall of Fame.

John ‘Mr. Harness Racing’ Campbell retired in July of 2017 with over 11,000 driving wins under his belt. The native of Ailsa Craig, Ont. is arguable the best harness driver to ever slide into the sulky, as he steered his mounts to $300 million in purses, much of which was banked before the introduction of robust, slots-infused purses.
