The countdown to the 2017 Pepsi North America Cup is on, with Trot Magazine profiling the horses predicted to be the top contenders for Canadian harness racing's richest prize.

At 16-1, Streakavana comes in at #6 in Trot Magazine's 2017 Pepsi North America Cup Spring Book.

One of two Ontario Sired colts to crack the top 10, Streakavana (Big Jim - Stonebridge Madona) won four of six starts at two for trainer Scott McEneny and owners Brad Grant & Teresa Davidson on Milton, Ont. He banked $179,750 of his $187,750 in the Ontario Sires Stakes program, tops in his division.

McEneny captured the 2001 edition of the North America Cup with Bettors Delight, a colt owned by Brad's father, John Grant. Trot Insider recently caught up with McEneny for an up-close and personal look at one of his two 2017 North America Cup contenders.
