Denis St. Pierre stole the show Thursday at Rideau Carleton Raceway thanks to a five-win performance on the 15-race card.
The win parade for St. Pierre started in Race 2 with Mach Place (2:02.1 - $6.60) and it continued in Race 8 with Margarita Bi (2:00.4 – $3.20). He came right back to take Race 9 with YS Charlie (1:58.4 - $12.30) and made it three-in-a-row thanks to an easy triumph in Race 10 with Big E (1:57.1 - $4.80). He finished things off by taking Race 12 in come-from-behind fashion with Brodys Leona (2:00 - $4.50).
The Laval, Quebec horseman now has 36 wins this season and 3,633 to date. He recently went over $26 million in lifetime earnings.
