The annual awards banquet and dinner of the Prince Edward Island Standardbred Horse Owners Association (PEISHOA) will be held this coming Saturday, April 5 at the Howard Johnson Dutch Inn in Cornwall, P.E.I.
"We are extremely honoured to have our very own Vance Cameron as our guest speaker this year," Colleen Dickie, president of PEISHOA, told Trot Insider. "We are all very familiar with his world class race calling and famous "Booms" so it will be exciting to hear how he got to where he is today and listen to him from the other side of the microphone as he discusses his experiences in harness racing."
Reception begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and the awards presentations to follow at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $30 and available at the Charlottetown Veterinary Clinic, The Red Shores Courtesy Desk and from any PEISHOA board member.
