Gural Hanover and driver Tony Morgan journeyed first-over to win the $21,000 Open Handicap Trot in 1:54.3 on Wednesday, March 22 at Dover Downs.

Leaving from the outside, Tough Mac (Corey Callahan) cleared to the lead by the quarter-pole with favourite Wind Of The North (Sean Bier) following in second until the final turn when Gural Hanover, advancing first-over from an early six-hole, grabbed the lead. The Crazed-Givemearing gelding won for the first time this year in his second start for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, Little E, and The Panhellenic Stable. It was win number 15 for the six-year-old, who has now earned $819,775 in his career. Wind Of The North finished second with Il Mago (Jonathan Roberts) shooting through inside for third ahead of Tough Mac.
