The SOA of NY recognized the 2016 achievement of top driver Jason Bartlett recently with a plaque presented by SOA President Joe Faraldo.
Bartlett will be the first to tell you how much he owes his grandfather for the exceptional talent being recognized once again as the Hilltop Oval's leading driver.
In a very talented field of drivers competing at Yonkers, including many who have found their way to the winner’s circle in the sport’s most prestigious events, Bartlett didn’t rest on his laurels of 2015 – Bartlett notched 616 victories, over 100 more than 2015’s 514 triumphs. He also added 405 second-place finishes and 362 third-place finishes.
His numbers were virtually untouchable within the talent-laden Yonkers driving colony once again earning him the driving title in 2016.
