Watch and Wager LLC has excluded an owner and a trainer from the grounds and all participation following the death and illegal removal of a horse that raced and recently won at Cal Expo.
Owner Osmin Carrera and trainer Dario Solares have been excluded after five-year-old pacer Nutmegs Davey was illegally removed from the track after his passing.
"The horse is undergoing a necropsy at UC Davis," said Watch and Wager LLC General Manger Chris Schick. “The investigation is being conducted by the California Horse Racing Board and we are giving them our full co-operation.”
