Tepid choice Tomorrowpan (Dan Dube) gave nothing else a chance Friday night, winning Yonkers Raceway's co-featured $32,500 Filly and Mare Open Handicap Pace for trainer Casie Coleman and owner Steve Calhoun of Chatham

Leaving from post position No. 4, she worked around Symphony In Motion (Jeff Gregory) just after a :27.1 opening quarter-mile. Tomorrowpan found the :56.3 half before Save My Shark (Jim Pantaleano) took a shot with a move from fourth.
Tomorrowpan maintained her lead through a 1:25 three-quarters, taking a couple of lengths into the lane. She found the mile in a spiffy 1:52.2 before finishing the requisite mile-and-one-sixteenth in 1:59.4, a new track record for aged pacing mares. Tomorrowpan beat Symphony In Motion by a measured three-quarters of a length, with Save My Shark, Twin B Tiara (George Brennan) and Bling (Eric Goodell) completing the cashers.
For Tomorrowpan, a five-year-old daughter of No Pan Intended, she returned $5.80 for her third win in six seasonal starts. The exacta paid $19.80, with the triple (three wagering choices) retuirned $83.
Friday night's co-featured $32,500 Open Handicap Trot saw One Man Show S (Jason Bartlett) author a 19-1, blanket-finish upset.
Sitting pocketed from post No. 4, he watched as Pembroke Prayer (Brennan) put up intervals of :27.3, :57.1 and 1:26.2. In Focus (Dan Dube) made a second move toward the lead, getting about a neck in front before jumping it off passing the three-quarters. Pembroke Prayer clung to a short lead in and out of the final turn, but company was coming. The contenders converged from all angles right around the 1:55.3 mile.
One Man Show S ducked inside, with 17-10 favourite Neighsay Hanover (Gregory) even further in the passing lane and last week's winner, Mystical Starlight (Goodell), out wide.
A legit Kodak moment, with One Man Show S getting the nod by a head in an added-distance 2:03.1. An even closer place photo divided Neighsay Hanover and Mystical Starlight, with Pembroke Prayer and Wuthering Hanover (Brent Holland) rounded out the payees. The first four finishers were separated by a half-length.
For One Man Show S, a nine-year-old Tap In gelding trained by Ron Burke for owner Jessica Hensley of Wayne, New Jersey, he returned $40.80 (seventh choice) for his third win in seven '11 tries. The exacta paid $255.50, with the triple returning $2,363.
