It has been reported that officials with Ellis Park in Kentucky are looking to reduce the amount of Instant Racing terminals at their track by relocating them to another raceway in the state.

An article by Greg Hall on courier-journal.com explains that the thoroughbred raceway currently has 137 terminals in operation, but that they are under performing due to competition from a nearby casino.

According to the report, Ellis Park officials have sent a request to the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission asking for permission to move 50 of the machines to Kentucky Downs.

The article explains that the movement of the machines would be for the benefit of state horsepeople and racing purses.

The report states that Ellis Park officials are also looking to reconfigure the track’s gaming parlour.
