For the second week-in-a-row Define The World showed his heels to the field in the $34,000 Preferred Trot at Woodbine Racetrack.

The classy graduate of the OSS program marched to the front and kept on trucking en route to a 1:54.3 triumph for driver Paul MacDonell. Define The World led the group through fractions of :26.4, :56.1 and 1:26 before unleashing a :28.3 closing panel which was good enough to seal the deal. Zeus Lightning, who came first-over in the back-half of the affair, was next best with third prize going to Bax Of Life.

John Bax trains the eight-year-old son of Duke Of York-Venice Holiday, who was sent off at odds of 9-2, for owner/breeder Al Libfeld of Pickering, ON. The victory gives him a 3-1-0 record from five starts this season and it improved his lifetime record to 39 wins and purse earnings of $1,740,839.
