The Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society is pleased to join forces with Sherwin Jewelry, who will donate a portion of 2010 sales proceeds to OSAS
.
"I am looking forward to working closely with the dedicated team at OSAS," stated Sherwin Edwards of Sherwin Jewelry. "After discussing possibilities with the staff at OSAS, we agreed that OSAS could benefit from a sponsorship program such as the one offered by sherwinjewelry.com.
"As a horse owner in the harness racing industry I believe that OSAS is a definite asset to the racing community and to support such an organization comes with a sense of pride to myself and the staff at Sherwin Jewelry."
In spite of the state of the economy, OSAS adopted 58 horses last year -- its highest total ever.
"It's a great opportunity for us and it's a great cause," said Joanne Colville of OSAS. "We're pleased to have this partnership."
OSAS will also hold its first ever Bowl-A-Thon on February 24, and details on the 2010 OSAS Stallion Auction will be released this week.
