Driver Jody Jamieson retook the lead in the national driver standings after dominating the final half of Sunday's harness racing card at Flamboro Downs.

Jamieson entered the 12-race card trailing Canadian season leader Billy Davis Jr. (49 wins) by just one victory, but a five-win performance put him back on top.

Jamieson earned his first Sunday score in the fourth race catch-driving the Rene Laarman-trained Rubadub Hanover ($3.50). He later strung together back-to-back wins in the seventh and eighth races with the repeating Breewood Bella ($13.60) for Gary Adair and Greatheart Hanover ($3.70) for Marty Fine, and again in the 10th and 11th races aboard Nics Regal Lass ($4.60) for Ed Hayter and Take My Picture ($2.20) for Nikolas Drennan.

The Moffat, Ont. reinsman now leads the nation with 53 wins so far in 2013.

J.R. Plante, last year's leading driver at Flamboro, was not far behind Jamieson in Sunday racing action with four wins of his own.
