Jetta Flys In Boxing Day Pace

Driver Corey MacPherson took control in the $1,800 Boxing Day Pace with Jetta Flys at 4-1 odds and landed on the line first in 2:00.1 on Tuesday, December 26.

Jetster finished second with Zingers Laugh finishing third. Jetta Flys is co-owned and trained by Stephen Quinn of Stratford with co-owner John Quinn of Charlottetown.

Rose Run Quest took the $2,400 Preferred Pace in 1:57.4 for driver Marc Campbell, who trains for owner Blair Hansen of Charlottetown. Czar Seelster finished second with Woggy Rocks third.

Holy Molie Maggie powered to a 2:04.2 victory in the $1,600 top trot for driver Walter Cheverie and trainer Jeff Holmes. Hop Up was second and Suicide Shift was third.

Live racing continues Sunday, December 31 for a special New Year's Eve program at the capital oval with a 6:30 P.M. scheduled post time.
