Although the highly anticipated Breeders Crown will be taking place at the Meadowlands Racetrack, advertising for the 'Crown' finals has shown up in the sports section of The Toronto Star this week.

The ad, which has a headline of Who Will Wear The Crown?, features pictures of Somebeachsomewhere and Deweycheatumnhowe and a Breeders Crown logo.

The ad explains the significance of 'The Beach' and 'Dewey' to the reader and offers all of the need-to-know information, right down to the $31.25 cost of the special Pegasus buffet.

Founded in 1892, The Toronto Star is Canada's largest daily newspaper.

You could BUY the CFL and have something left over from the value of either "Dewey" or "the Beach", yet there will be story after story even all winter on the CFL...The Toronto Star is the only local paper deserving any such ad revenue; possibly they might have noticed the sixty million dollars+ spent at a few recent sales as well.
