Yagonnakissmeornot, whose connections anted up the $31,250 supplemental fee to enter next weekend's Breeders Crown, was victorious in Saturday night's $35,000 Mares Open Handicap Pace at Pocono Downs.

Assigned outside her five rivals, Yagonnakissmeornot followed along in third before springing into action late in the mile and edging out another Breeders Crown hopeful, Krispy Apple, for the 1:50.4 victory. Krispy Apple had carved out fractions of :27.2, :56 and 1:23.1 before being collared by the quick-closing favourite in the final strides. Spirit Of Desire finished one length behind off a pocket trip. Rounding out the finish order were Campanile, Western Empress and 'Crown' contender Regil Elektra.

Simon Allard drove the winner of 14 races and over $500,000 this year for his brother, trainer Rene Allard. Yagonnakissmeornot is owned by Allard Racing Inc. of Saint-Esprit, Que., Yves Sarrazin of La Presentation, Que. and Kapildeo Singh of Yorktown Heights, New York.

She has drawn post five in the 11-horse field for next weekend's $281,250 Breeders Crown Mares Open Pace at Meadowlands Racetrack.

The five-year-old The Panderosa-Artstopper mare is a half-sister to three-year-old colt Always B Miki, who won his Breeders Crown elimination tonight at The Meadowlands.
