Call For Justice, typically a Preferred performer, enjoyed a touch of class relief Wednesday (November 15) and took full advantage when he cruised to victory in the $15,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life Trot at The Meadows.

Call For Justice was away third for Dave Palone and after quarter-moving to the front, he easily repelled the first-over challenge of Classic Banker and downed him by 2-1/4 lengths in 1:54.4. Maximum Credit was a ground-saving third.

Ron Burke trains Call For Justice, a five-year-old son of Justice Hall-Mikas Mazurka who extended his career bankroll to $449,407 for the Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi, LLC.

Palone collected four wins and Mike Wilder three on the 12-race card, while trainer Randy Bendis notched a pair of victories to stretch his week’s total to eight.
