It was an all John Wagner show in both ends of $20,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF), first of two filly trot preliminary legs, at Dover Downs on Tuesday.

The Wagners - John and wife Pamela - bred both JA Going Alltheway and Luscious Leigh, winners of the opening round of the DSBF freshman program. Vic Kirby drove both winning horses.

In the first $20,000 division, Kirby sent JA Going Alltheway past early leader Sugartime at the half and cruised to a 2:02.4 victory. The CR Commando-Anastasia JA bay has won all four of her starts taking all three Harrington prelims and the $100,000 final and now has already banked $80,000 this year. Starlit Eyes was second, with Podium third.

Luscious Leigh scored her second success of the season registering a 2:01 decision in the second $20,000 prelim. A chestnut daughter of CR Commando-Fox Valley Mo, Luscious Leigh was followed home by Country Romance and Bosston Chevel.

The second leg takes place next Tuesday with the top eight finishers, after the prelims, vying in a $100,000 final.

A $30,000 Preferred trot and two $20,000 DSBF 1st leg colt trot prelims, highlight the Wednesday program. Last week’s feature trot winner Anders Bluestone meets newcomer Big Rigs, upset winner of the 2011 Matron sophomore trot beating Chapter Seven in that final.
