Sunday night's preliminary non-betting card stole the show as Cool Toy shattered the two-year-old filly pacing record at Rosecroft Raceway, winning a division of the Maryland Sires Stakes in 1:53.2.

Her winning time broke the track record held jointly by Cambelles Up (Roger Hammer) from 1994 and Rose Drive (Eddie Davis Jr.) from 1999.

Cool Toy sat patiently in the pocket for driver Jason Green following Princess Rusty (Art Stafford Jr.) and blasted home for the win.

Green's grandfather Clayton, and father Clifton had success on Maryland circuit for several years teaming up with Tuggit as a star two and three-year-old, while Cliff Green had MSS wins as well with Bo Jam and Old Dan in the trotting divisions.

Six minutes earlier, HS Shauna had posted a new MSS mark of of 1:54.2, eclipsing the record of Bonnie Lynn (Roland Mallar) from 2001 for driver Roger Plante Jr., trainer Steve LeBlanc and owner Cary Grady.
