Bryson Seelster Captures Campbell Memorial

Raymond MacKinnon's Bryson Seelster was a wire-to-wire winner in the $1,500 Neil Campbell Memorial Pace featured at Northside Downs on Saturday afternoon

Driver Ryan Campbell sent Bryson Seelster to the lead from Post 2 and the four-year-old gelded son of Camluck-Bolero Bogota carved out fractions of :28.2, :59.2 and 1:28.4 en route to a one and three-quarter length victory in 1:57.3, over a track rated "good" and one second off. Aahm Cruisin (Gary Delaney) journeyed first up to place with the popular Silver Dragon (David Ratchford) finishing third.

Bryson Seelster paid $14.60 to win as one of the longest shots in the six-horse affair at odds of 6-1. Walter Walker trains the winner of nine races in 27 starts and $7,398 this year. Bryson Seelster now boasts 12 wins on his lifetime record and earnings totaling $25,440.
