Public To Vote On Mich. Racino Issue?

According to a report by the Chicago Tribune, Michigan racetrack owners will be asking the state today if it is okay to let voters decide on whether the facilities can open casinos.

The Chicago Tribune article states that a group entitled 'Racing to Save Michigan' will today be appearing in front of a state elections board. The group is hoping to be granted approval to circulate petitions to voters in order to get a racino expansion proposal on a November 2010 ballot.
