'Rivers Of Gold' Book Launch Sunday

The Rivers of Gold run deep in this year’s Pattison International and E.P. Taylor Stakes.

The launch of Rivers of Gold at the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, located at Toronto’s Woodbine Racetrack, on Sunday (October 15) from noon to 2:00 p.m., promises to be a multifaceted affair.

Rivers of Gold, written by Muriel Lennox, best-selling author of four previous works including E.P. Taylor and Northern Dancer: The Legend and His Legacy, takes readers on an extraordinary journey in discovering the secret alchemy fueling today’s great champions.

Proof positive of Canada’s immense influence will be in evidence Sunday afternoon in the prestigious E.P. Taylor and Pattison International Stakes races. Every single horse in both fields will find ancestors in Canada’s Rivers of Gold. A fundraising event for the Hall of Fame, Lennox believes the venue is entirely appropriate. “I’m looking forward to signing books while surrounded by photos, displays, and pertinent memorabilia celebrating these remarkable horses and the human inductees whose passion for horse racing brought us this great history.”

The Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame is located on the ground floor of the western entrance to Woodbine. Visitors are invited to tour the Hall at their leisure. Woodbine offers both free parking and free general admission.
