Perfect Escape made his move at the head of lane and over-powered Eagle Jolt in the stretch to win the Thursday featured event at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Ron Matheson was in the bike behind Perfect Escape, who stopped the teletimer in 1:54.4 for owners Jack Keenan of Stratford, PE and Joseph Dahl of Burlington, Ont. and trainer Jackie Matheson. Eagle Jolt held on for second with Mcjestic completing the triactor.

Team Matheson came right back in the nightcap with Artners In Crime for the driving-training double.

Driver Marc Campbell enjoyed another big night at the office. The Winsloe resident drove four winners on the program with scores aboard Tyne Valley, Howmac Missy and Freddie who notched his 14th win of the season. Campbell also rallied with Yankee No More for the grand-slam.
