Three $20,000 divisions of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund's second leg for two-year-old pacing fillies were contested Monday at Harrington Raceway with Joann Looney-King's Cougar Creek the fastest winner of the trio in 1:57.4.

The daughter of Dream Away and driver Victor Kirby sat behind favourite and pacesetter Apple Bottom Jeans throughout before surging by in deep stretch to prevail. Trained by Jim King, Jr., it was Cougar Creek's first win in three lifetime starts.

Carter Racing Stable's Fiftyshadesofrusty (Corey Callahan) won the first division in 1:58.1 for trainer Doug Lewis. The Art Director-sired filly earned her first career win.

Garnet O'Marrow's Seboomook Up Town (Allan Davis) completed a sweep of her eliminations with her fourth consecutive win in 1:59.1. The Wayne Givens-trainee and daughter of Tune Town has yet to taste defeat in her career.

In the overnight feature on the 13-race program, the $16,000 Open Pace, John Cancelliere's Special T Rocks (George Dennis) was victorious in 1:52.

Two "rickshaw rumble" races were held as non-wagering events to benefit Horse Lovers United, who is dedicated to finding homes for horses who can no longer compete. Humans took the place of their equine counterparts, pulling a sulky in a 1/16 of a mile sprint. Local television host Heather Vitale coordinated the event which was successful in raising money for Horse Lovers United. Ashley Ivory won the "fillies" division, while Tyler Davis was victorious in the "colts" division.
