Windsor Raceway treated its fans to a 12-race card on Tuesday evening, and driver Kevin Wallis found his way to the winner’s circle in nearly half of those dashes

.

It was five trips to the victory lane, to be exact, for teamster Wallis. The career winner in excess of 9,000 races was kept out of the win column until the fourth race, but the triumphs started piling up from that point on. Longs Sunshine’s 1:59.4 score got the ball rolling for Wallis in the fourth race, and Hy Class Baran’s 1:55.4 decision in the fifth race gave the Maidstone, ON horseman back-to-back victories.

Rip Rockin Lady took the seventh race by five lengths in a time of 1:54.3 for Wallis, who proceeded to sweep the Late Double wager with Addys Way (1:56.1) in Race 11 and May Igofirst (1:55.3) in Race 12.

Wallis, who up until 2010 enjoyed 17 consecutive seasons with more than $1-million in earnings, has racked up more than $43-million in career purse earnings.
