Litt Breaks His Maiden In London

Tuesday’s card at The Raceway at Western Fair District turned out to be a memorable one for driver Thomas Litt, who nabbed his first-ever victory thanks to a score with pacing gelding B Not T.

Litt hustled the nine-year-old son of Rambaran off the gate and found himself parked past the quarter-pole in :29.4 before touching down on the lead. Once they cleared, Litt and B Not T led the group through middle panels of :59.4 and 1:30 before sealing the deal with a :31-second closing panel. The margin of victory for Litt and B Not T was three-quarters of a length over Not So Forgiving in 2:01.

The 19-year-old sulky sitter, who is a fourth generation horseman from Strathroy, Ontario, was making just his fourth start in the racebike.
