Tuesday at Hanover

On Tuesday, I had my first meeting with Beach since dropping him him off at Hanover Shoe Farms in December

.

Beach has filled out quite a bit, he's grown and he looks great. He couldn't be in a better place. He's outside 24/7, has a great paddock with a lean-to that's about 20x20 for shelter.

Did he recognize me? He sure did. We had fun playing as you can see...but after the cameras were rolling I came back later on when it was a bit darker with a bag of carrots. I called to him in the field and when he heard my voice he whinnied and trotted right up to me.

It was great seeing him again and I look forward to seeing his babies on the ground.

I'm so grateful that I saw Some Beach's first win and subsequent Battle of Waterloo victory at Grand River Raceway in Elora. Now I'm looking forward to seeing one of his colts or fillies in a race some day!

What a sight ,that would bring a tear to a glass eye. He looks great. I am not that happy about the field he is in ,ground looks uneven and hard. I don't think i would put my old $200.00 horse in it, let alone THE BEACH.

Stirs emotions and I'm just fan ...... I'm sure Brent was as full as an egg! Great to see updates. Beach has gained a few pounds. He looks great! Art who?

Great to see the Beach again. He and Brent obviously have a wonderful relationship and that is so nice to see between owners' and horses. Hanover Shoe Farms is the best possible place for a horse to be. I hope that SBSW is as successful as a stud as he was on the track! He's got some great mares to work with and that's the way it should be.

great to see The Beach, what a great horse and friend. What love is all about. Thank You .William Body.

So nice to see the video of the Beach.
Looks goods & looks like he's certainly enjoying retirement.
Hopefully, over the years we'll see more updates on the Beach
