January 1, 2010:

What a way for all the partners of Shadow Play to start the new year with the announcement that Shadow is heading back to Canada to stand in Ontario.

October 20, 2009:

After two less than Shadow performances at Lexington recently, Shadow Play is now at Blue Chip Farm in upstate New York, retired to stud.

August 11, 2009:

Shadow incurred a minor injury overnight to his right lower eyelid (laceration) which required stitching, so we opted not to race the Breeders Crown Prep race at the Meadowlands on Saturday night

August 2, 2009:

Every week has been an adventure with Shadow Play this summer

Sometimes this game is very tough and we are certainly experiencing that this year.

Still though, as I have previously stated, we certainly can't complain after last year's experience.
