Mark Hetherman has owned harness horses since the mid-80’s when he first met trainer Robert Young. Mark’s experience is that of hobby owner much like many others in the harness racing industry. He has also been a major fan of live racing and has attended the races regularly for over 20 years. His business background has been at the Executive levels in marketing and sales and because of that it is in his blood to observe the racing game with a critical eye towards satisfying the customer.
Most recently Mark has joined Standardbred Canada as a consultant on a number of new projects to drive handle both live and remote. Mark asked for the opportunity to join the Blogging group at Standardbred Canada in the position of Festival Manager for Adrenaline. He will comment on this project but also give his personal opinion on the industry. His comments will be his own and are not necessarily those of Standardred Canada.
